Thomas Holiday Hicks Asher IV (Tom), 66, of Crossroads, TX passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2022 after a battle with cancer.  Tom was born on September 5, 1955 in Norfolk, VA the son of Robert Lloyd Asher and Marie Elizabeth Butler Asher.

Tom attended many executive business schools including the Disney Institute and SMU Cox school of Business. Tom spent his career in the automotive industry management and then consulting for automotive dealerships through his career with Atcon and Gulf States Toyota and Gulf States Financial Services.  Tom's gift of teaching served many over the years.

Tom married Linda Hartley on Valentines Day 2002.  They shared a love of Jesus, family and community.

Tom was the ultimate Renaissance man; playing guitar throughout his life and sharing his love for music, becoming an accomplished oil painter, teacher to many and sharing his faith always.  He believed deeply, loved greatly and wanted that for all he met. His sense of humor carried him through life up until the very end.  He would always be quick with a joke.

Tom was predeceased by his father, Robert Lloyd Asher and mother Marie Elizabeth Butler Asher as well as his mother-in-law Ethel Meyer Hartley.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Linda (Hartley) Asher, are his sons, Christopher Bradley Asher (Jessica Ronan) of Garland, Frank William (Trey) Taylor (Lauren) of Celina; daughters, Shelly Cappozzi (John) of New Braunfels, Brandy Asher of Murfreesboro, TN, Emily Bradbury (Alex) of McKinney, Casey DePietropolo (Michael) of Aubrey, Irina Paraschiv of Richardson, Kimberly Banda of Cross Roads; 9 grandchildren, Shannon Greenwell (Jacob) of Memphis, TN, Hanna Roesch of Southhaven, MS, Sara Roesch of Murfreesboro, TN, Lacey Reid of Murfreesboro, TN, Dylan Asher-Woodward of Aubrey, TX, Izzie Asher of Plano, TX, Liam Bradbury of McKinney, TX, Jackson Bradbury of McKinney, TX, and Rowan Taylor of Celina; one great grandchild Noah Greenwell of Memphis, TN;  one brother, Timothy Asher (Mandy) of Parsons, TN; sister in laws Susan Casey of Boca Raton, FL, Carol Taylor (Ed) of Knoxville, TN and Janice Magee (Gregg) of Palestine, TX; Aunt Rose McGann of Loma Linda, CA; Father-in-law Roby L. Hartley, along with many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Genesis Metro Church, 9750 John W Elliott DR, Frisco, TX 75033, Friday,

July 1,2022 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 2 at 10:00 AM at Genesis Metro Church, 9750 John W Elliott Dr., Frisco, TX with Pastor Tim Bourne and Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX 76207 at 12:30 P.M.
