Thomas Wayne Carter, 67, of Denton, passed away on November 6, 2011 in Denton. He was born February 27, 1944 in Denton to Teddy Ray and Verga Mae (Wilson) Carter. He attended public schools and was a self employed roofing contractor.
Mr. Carter is survived by Dianne; sons, Timothy, Christopher, Randall, Curtis, and Brandon; stepsons, Greg and Trent; sister, Nelda Wright; brothers, Gene, Glenn, and Ray; several grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by a brother Earl.
A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, 1101 Audra Lane, Denton, with Rev. Randy Snow officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Creek Cemetery. The family will be at the church for visitation on Thursday, from 12 Noon until service time. Memorials may be made to the family to defray expenses.
