Theodore 'Ted' Sampson, age 86, of Flower Mound, Texas and former resident of Oskaloosa, Iowa, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2006, in Lewisville, Texas.

Ted was born July 21, 1920 in Delta, Iowa to Herbert and Esta Okey Sampson. He married Dorotha Todd on November 1, 1941 in Lancaster, Missouri. Ted served in the United States Navy during World War II. He and his wife Dorotha are members of Liberty Baptist Church in Lewisville.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Dorotha; son, Lewis Sampson and his wife, Suzanne of Elgin, Illinois; daughter, Lois Huberty and her husband, Terry of Flower Mound; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2006, at Liberty Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. Reverend Dick Webster will officiate the service. The family request memorial contributions made to
