Obituary

Thelma Alice Willingham, 92, of Denton, died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at her residence. She was born November 24, 1914 in Slidell, TX to Oscar Lee and Mary Katherine (McClary) Smith. She was married to Lloyd Willingham, on December 9, 1933 in Marietta, OK He died January 3, 1980. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Argyle, and was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.,M. Wednesday,. August 8, 2007 at the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle, with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.

Mrs. Willingham is survived by two daughters, Joan W. Hicks, of Krum, and Sandra W. Knox, of Denton, and a son Tyrone Willingham, of Argyle, sister, Mildred Wilmoth, of Fort Worth, and brother, Herman L. Smith, of Sanger, Seven Grandchildren and fourteen Great Grandchildren and Eleven Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Kenneth Willingham.
