Terry Dale Henrie left this earth May 28, 2023. He was 65 years old and living in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with his wife, Kellie. Terry and Kellie married November 28, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas. They didn't get their full live's together, but they adored one another during the time they had. Kellie was always by his side through sickness and in health.

Terry was born on January 16, 1958 to LC and Geneva Henrie in Denton, Texas. He graduated from Allen High School in 1976. In 1983 his first daughter, JoLaura was born. Shortly after, in 1984, his first and only son, Garrett came along and finally, in 1997 his youngest daughter, Allie was born.

Terry worked in the furniture and medical industries before "retiring" in 2002. After his so called retirement, he was busier than ever. He team roped and raised cattle, horses and goats. He and his daughter Allie found a love for stock showing and like anything Terry did, he was all in.

Terry was one of a kind. He loved his family, his mini Aussies and mini Herefords. He loved helping anyone he could, whether it was a place to stay, taking you under his wing, helping out in the show barn, or even just a simple meal. If you knew Terry, you knew you were going to always be fed. He was especially proud of his chicken and dumplings and banana pudding. There's a large number of people he ministered to, in many ways, over the years, probably more than we could count.

In 2009, Terry's daughter, JoLaura made him a grandfather for the first time with his first grandson, Isaiah. Then shortly after in 2010 went on to have twin girls, Leah and Leila. "Papa" became his new favorite title. Most recently in 2022, Allie had a daughter, Bryn, making him "Papa" one last time. He lit up around all of his grandchildren and made sure to always remind Jo and Allie "You are the best mother I've ever seen". He was always championing everyone around him.

Terry is survived by his wife, Kellie and daughter, JoLaura (Henrie) Tomlinson with her husband, Vincent, their children, Isaiah, Leah and Leila; his daughter Allie (Henrie) Flandermeyer with her husband, Miles and their daughter Bryn; also, children through marriage, Cori Cane and husband Brandon, with their children, Landyn and Ryland; Chris Fishell with wife Holly, their daughter Cobie; his aunt, Betty Farmer and countless friends that have become more like family. He loved all of you so dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, LC and Geneva Henrie, his brothers, Mike and Greg Henrie; his precious son, Garrett James Henrie; uncle Bobby Farmer, and Aunt Clara-Belle Bartee.

Terry will be remembered for living his life to the fullest everyday. He will be remembered for his generous and rambunctious spirit. He was not someone you could easily forget.

Though we are sad on this side of heaven, we know he is not. We take great joy that he is no longer suffering and that he is at peace forever. He is home.

Graveside Services will be held at Old Alton Cemetery Saturday June 3rd at 10:00am - 5724 Teasley Ln Denton, Texas. There will be lunch to follow at 9475 Hilltop Rd Argyle, Texas. All are welcome.
