IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teresa Beth
Williamson
November 27, 1951 – April 22, 2025
Teresa Beth Williamson of Boerne, Texas joined the stream of her loved ones on April 22, 2025 at the age of 73 after a short but courageous journey through pancreatic cancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Guy Williamson, mother Shirley Richardson, and father David Richardson. She is survived by a daughter, Emily McCauley (Matthew) and one grandson, Connor, of Rockport, Texas, four sisters - Vicki Goetz, Melinda Richardson, Carol Holcomb, and Barbara Crowley, sisters-in-law Tracey MacGowan and Lynne Behling, and nine nieces and nephews.
Born November 27, 1951, Teresa grew up in Lewisville, Texas and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1970. One of her greatest joys was marrying Guy in 1981. They moved to Sanger, TX in 1996 where they enjoyed the "country life".
Teresa was proud of her careers, working for Southwest Airlines in Arlington, Texas, and finally retiring in 2011 from the Office of Advancement at the University of North Texas in Denton. She chose Boerne, Texas as her next home. She loved this small, Texas Hill Country town, and enjoyed being closer to Emily and her family as well as living next door to her dear friends Ray and Gayla Boshart. An avid gardener and birdwatcher, Teresa was known for her spectacular collection of irises and landscaping with native plants. Teresa loved the outdoors, Texas wildlife, and camping. The Williamsons had many remarkable trips in their travel trailer and enjoyed fishing any lake they could. Many fond memories and epic stories were made on trips with their extended Denton law enforcement family. Her last and most treasured role was being Connor's Grandma. A little boy couldn't ask for a more devoted, loving fan.
A visitation will be held on May 2nd from 12-2:00 p.m. at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton, Texas followed by a private graveside service for immediate family. In lieu of arrangements and in keeping with Teresa's love for nature and conservation - the family asks to please donate in her honor to the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center or the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
Profound thanks to the compassionate staff of Embrace Hospice and New Hope Assisted Living for supporting Teresa and her family in her last weeks.
