She was born August 24, 1948 in Lafayette Louisiana  to Auburn Bruce Strattman and Yvonne E. Coumes-Strattman. Sue was a retired school teacher and librarian with the Dallas Independent School District, who passed away doing what she liked best, serving.

She is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Anderson and her husband, Chris and son, Nicholas Paschal; parents, Auburn and Yvonne Strattman; grandchildren, Ivy Anderson, Emily Anderson and Krislyn Anderson and brother, Steve Strattman and wife, Connie. She was preceded in death by a grand-daughter, Stella Anderson.

A memorial service to celebrate Sue's life will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at North Point Christian Church in Lewisville.
