Carlet Sue Housden, 71, of Denton, died Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

Mrs. Housden was born on September 21, 1949 in Denton to Henry Alford and Janie Mae (Trull) Byrom. She loved her family and worked in retail for many years.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Tracy Gilley (Frank) of Denton; son, Danny Lynch (Tiffany) of Lake Dallas; brother, Randy Byrom of Denton; grandchildren, Michael, Abbigayle, Dillon, Edward, Ethan; great-grandchildren, Cayde, Lane.She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Lynch.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. The family will have a private graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery.
