Stormye Marie Louise Murphey, 30, of Denton, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Denton, TX.

Stormye was born on April 1, 1987 in Denton to Terence Lynn and Heather Renee (White) Murphey. She attended Lifeline Church in Denton.

She is survived by her daughter, Addilye Murphey-Nelson of Denton; father, Terence Lynn Murphey of Denton; grandparents, Jim White of Springtown, Lewis Murphey of Denton; brother, Andrew Murphey and his wife Jennifer and their children, Colby Murphey and Caden Murphey all of Ponder; uncles, Zachary White of McKinney, Jimbo White of Springtown, Jonathan Murphey Waxahachie, Victor Murphey of Albuquerque, NM, Nathan Murphey of Corpus Christi.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2017 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Pastor Jerry Reagan will officiate the service.
