Steve was born on May 10, 1968 in Kokomo, Indiana to Harold and Marilyn Rumzek. He lived with Donna, his wife of 13 years, in Texas. He considered Colorado home, after growing up surrounded by the beautiful mountains. He was a master carpenter, for over 20 years, working throughout the US. Preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Scofield Rumzek Page and brother, Scott Randal Rumzek. Survivors: wife, Donna Rumzek; sister, Dawna Stankus (Dewey Courtney); father, Harold A. Rumzek (Anne); children, Heather Rumzek and Joshua Kerk of Colorado, Amanda Rumzek, Lynee Claire Sursa and Cooper Sursa of Texas, and many other family and friends.
