Steven was born on April 13, 1967 in Ellenville, NY to George and Donna (Hinckley) Rich.

Raised in Justin, Texas he owned Rich's Lawn Service and was an avid experienced mechanic who loved Chevy trucks and NASCAR racing.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Brittany Hazel and husband Donald of Point, TX, grandchildren, Paisley and Cason; daughter, Jennifer Eding and husband Jonathan of Alexandria, LA; grandchildren, Aleena and Elizabeth; sisters, Lisa Miller and husband Ron of Justin, TX, Patty Hill and husband Scott of Krum, TX, Laurie Black and husband Alan of Justin, TX; brothers, David Rich and wife Stefani of Grapevine, TX, and Michael Rich and wife Sonia of Olivebridge, NY.

Also known as Big DD and uncle DD to countless nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Donna Rich, and nephew, Dylan Scott.

The family wants to extend their love and appreciation to Steven's Angel from India, Dolly Johnson.

"When I get where I am going, on the other side of the sky, The first thing that I'm gonna do is spread my wings and fly."

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton.
