Steve Baugus 58, of Denton decided he wanted to go fishing with his Dad on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 after fighting a year and a half battle with cancer. Steve was married to the love of his life, Amy, for 33 years for which she will cherish their many trips across the globe, along with a life of being a husband. Steve was a wonderful dad to Bobby & Benjamin, an amazing brother to Rose, Barbara, Elizabeth (Squeaky) and Debbie, all whom have cherished memories with him. Steve was a United States Marine for 10 years and was "Semper Fi" all the way. Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, golfing, helping anyone that needed it, woodworking, and he never met a stranger.
Steve decided to be cremated with no fan fair.
Stephen Wayne Baugus was born October 19th, 1962, to the late Wayne (Red) Baugus & Cecil Baugus. He is survived by his wife Amy (McFarling); sons Bobby Baugus (Atria Lopez), Benjamin & Rachel Baugus; sisters and brothers in law, Rose & Wayne Wallace, Barbara & Rick Campbell, Elizabeth (Squeaky) & Bill Kruger, Debbie & Michael Dennis; numerous nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and his fur babies.
Steve is preceded in death by Wayne(Red) Baugus his Dad, Bob McFarling his father in law; grandparents; uncles & aunts; several cousins; and friends.
Steve wanted everyone to go fishing and spend time with loved ones and tell funny stories.
