Stephanie Jane Hutchison is survived by her three children, eight grandsons and fifteen
great-grandchildren. She was born to Luther and Mildred Baker on October 17,1943 in
Garland, Texas.
During her childhood, she became a Christian. Janie loved going fishing with her father. She
graduated from Garland High School. On August 5, 1961; she married her high school
sweetheart Charles E. Hutchison. They shared fifty-four years of marriage together. They
loved going camping and built a camper together from scratch.
Charles and Janie moved to San Antonio and co-owned a Steamatic Franchise with Jim
Hutchison. Janie enjoyed painting ceramics. She could sew anything including toys for her
grandchildren. During their retirement years, they traveled to forty-nine states. They went
on numerous Caribbean Cruises.
Visitation will be held at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home at 705 N. Locust Street
Denton, Texas 76201 on Friday, July 12th from 5 to7 pm. A graveside service will take place
at Roselawn Memorial Park at 3801 Roselawn Drive Denton, Texas 76207 on Saturday, July
13th at 9 am.
