Stacie Simpson, age 39, of Frisco, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 19, 1969 in Arlington, Texas. Stacie married Mark Simpson on February 6, 1999 in Mabank, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; daughter, Baileigh Lynn Simpson; father, Gene Paul; brother, Todd Henson; grandfather, Gene Grigsby;  sister-in-law, Diona Henson; nephew, Gavin Henson and niece Madelynn Henson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Paul on October 17, 2007.

Funeral service was held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Lewisville. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. The family requests memorial contributions made to the National Brain Tumor Society or Faith Hospice. The family thanks Dr. Elizabeth Maher and Dr. Bruce Mickey with UT Southwestern and their staffs for their help in maintaining Stacie's quality of life these past few years.
