Sondra Leigh Barker, 39, of Denton, died Sunday April 17, 2005 in Denton.
Sondra was born on January 21, 1966 in Gainesville, TX to Giles and Mary Alice (Dickerson) Truebenbach. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Muenster and completed the International Business School and numerous child health care programs. She was an infant care provider and teacher. She was married to James Michael Barker and they were together for fourteen years.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday April 21, 2005 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Father Jeff Poirot will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery, Krum, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday April 20 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary following at 8:00 PM.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Barker of Denton; son, Kyle Anthony Koesler of Muenster; mother, Mary Alice (Dickerson) Drake and her husband Kenneth of Lewisville; father, Giles W. Truebenbach of Muenster; grandmother, Ruth Dickerson of Lewisville; brother, Giles Wayne Truebenbach of Cresson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Sondra was preceded in death by her sister, Kelly Truebenbach; grandparents, A.T. Dickerson; Andrew and Margaret Truebenbach; uncle, Allen Truebenbach.
