Obituary
Shirley Ann Kraus, 71, of Denton, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her home in Denton.
Mrs. Kraus was born on September 14, 1942 in Fort Worth to Clifford and Jewel (Sims) Cowley. She graduated from Milsap Public schools and was married to Robert Kraus for fifty-one years. She worked at Victor Equipment for over twenty years.
Shirley led an active life as she enjoyed playing cards, going out to eat and to the movies; she was very involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Robert Kraus and his wife Stacy of Krum, Christian Kraus and his wife, Jayne of Argyle, Tracine Mixon and her husband Doug of Krum; five grandchildren, Brittany Barta, Courtney Chustz and her husband Andrew, Lauren Kraus, Sydney Kraus, Nicole Mixon; three great-grandchildren, Link Brewer, Jace Chustz, Conner Mixon; sisters, Linda, Cecelia, Wanda; brother, Tommy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sister, Ruby Jo and brother, Butch.
Shirley was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2014 in the chapel of Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.
