Shirley Dianne Donica, 70, of Levelland, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

Mrs. Donica was born on March 23, 1950 in Winters, TX to Max Edward and Ruby Ilyn (Reynolds) Fisher. She was married to Tommy Glenn Donica on December 7, 1968. She worked as a teacher's aide for the Levelland ISD. Shirley was a long-time member of Austin Street Church of Christ in Levelland, TX.  Shirley was always accompanied by her service dog Asbury who she loved.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Tommy Donica of Levelland; daughters, Shanna Donica of Levelland, Kayla Bleau of Denton; son, Jeffrey Donica of Collinsville, OK; mother, Ilyn Fisher of Sapulpa, OK; sisters, Pamela Scott of Broken Arrow, OK, Debbie Bowers of Sapulpa, OK; grandchildren, Kimber Bleau, Kira Bleau, Jeryn Bleau, Jaelithe Bleau, Ethan Donica, Sophia Donica; great-grandchildren, Emma Edwards, James Hall. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Lee Donica, father, Max Edward Fisher and, brother, Gary Wayne Fisher.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, Hamlin, TX.

In lieu of flowers Shirley would have liked donations to be made to the CARES Foundation, P.O. Box 314, Concordia, KS 66901, to help ensure that other individuals would have access to services dogs like Asbury.
