Shirley Beth Ake, 70, of Denton, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Ake was born on December 15, 1947 in Austin, TX to James Shirley and Billie Ruth (Harrell) Morgan.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Flores of Denton, Sheila Groseclose of Sanger, Leah Taylor of Whitewright, Veronica Chaney of Melissa; sons, Dennis Ake, Jr. of Venus, James Kane of Driftwood; sister, Sheila Morgan of Denton; grandchildren, Lindsey, Caleb, Cori, Harlee, Ryon, Garret, Gracie, Emma, Layla, Kaden, Landri, Cross; great-granddaughter, McKlain Mayo.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until the service time. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX.
She loved her kids and grandkids. She loved us the moon and the stars.
