Sheila Vanella Minney, sadly passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 in Pilot Point, Texas at the age of 67. Sheila was born on January 26, 1956. She was an Arkansas girl, to move about in Texas and Michigan throughout her life. She was a Devry University graduate and a former electronic engineer for Boeing Aerospace and retired from  AT&T. And as long as they were Democrats, she was dedicated to female achievements in society. Sheila's greatest influence was her loving grandmother, her first step to womanhood. She tried to pass all that on to her grandchildren, the great teaching and grand thinking she held so high.

Sheila loved her wildlife habitat In Justin, Texas. She loved birds, butterflies, flowers, and traveling. Sheila's happy place was in a chair looking at the butterflies and various birds moving about in an endless colorful flowered acre of her side yard.

Sheila was predeceased by Her mother Jean Bates Rife, and her sister Elsie "Sarah" Rife She is survived by her three sons, Jai, Ben, and Wes Buranaphan, her spouse Ranger Minney, three grandchildren Siddalee, Brooke, and Arley Buranaphan, and her three siblings, Lyndon Rife, Donna Taylor, and Faith Reynolds.

Her journey is flowing with the wind into a sunset. She is missed greatly and loved by many.

Her service will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 2 pm at Oak Grove cemetery 42725 FM-720 Aubrey, TX 76227.
