IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheila Stevens
Michael
July 29, 1964 – November 24, 2023
Sheila Stevens Michael, born on July 29th, 1964, in Butler, Missouri, was married to Douglas Michael on November 8th, 1983. They had been married for 40 years. On November 24th, 2023, Sheila succumbed to pancreatic cancer, surrounded by family and loved ones, at the age of 59.
Sheila was best known for her mother mentality, stretching far beyond the reach of her own children, constantly concerned with the comfort and well-being of others around her. Her ferocity in the corporate world was matched only by the fierce love she held for those closest to her. She spent every moment possible with her family, whether cruising around the world with her husband, spoiling her grandkids on shopping sprees and, most often, sitting around the firepit with her loved ones. Sheila renewed her faith over the past couple of years, receiving Confirmation and First Holy Communion in May 2023, frequently praying for all the members of her family in her mortal life, and we know she will continue to do the same in Heaven.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Douglas Michael, son, Timothy Michael, Daughter Julie Michael Villarreal and her husband Tony, grandsons, Sean Michael and Jayden Villarreal, granddaughter, Katelyn Villarreal, brothers, Jeff and Carl Stevens and sister Sharon Mills.
