Sharon Ann Lindly, 69, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Denton, Texas with family at her side. She died of natural causes.
Sharon was born on November 25, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas.
She worked as a cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor for over 30 years. Sharon was a very outgoing, gregarious person, with a personality that was larger than life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a talented artist and enjoyed movies and books. She was an avid collector of porcelain dolls and elephant figurines. She loved The Lord and savior Jesus Christ with all of her heart.
Sharon is survived by her children Darlene (Evans) Locke, Staci (Jester) and Marcos Porrua; six granchildren Brenna, Colby, Justin, Nicholas, Chandler, and Samuel; three great-grandchildren Calin, Caydee, and Carter; sister Debbie; niece Kyla and her 5 children; and many many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Shirley and Buck Buckelew, and nephew Chris.
She will be cremated and her ashes spread among the family. There will be a small memorial with family and friends in Lubbock,Texas at a later date. Please contact the family for time and date if you would like to attend.
