Sharon Lou Huey, 69 of Denton, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born April 25, 1941 in Rock Island, Ill. To Louis L. and Margaret F. (Cargo) McAninch. She is a graduate of Denton High School and Texas Woman's University. She was a former Teacher and a member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1963 and most recently in the Laureate Alpha Omega Chapter. She was married to Eddie Huey on February 15, 1959 in Denton.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, September 30, 2010 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton, with Rev. Richard Montgomery and Rev. Bobby Bryan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery in Valley View, Texas The family will be at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.

Mrs. Huey is survived by her Loving Husband Eddie Huey, daughter, Birdie Blackwell, and son Edward L. Huey, granddaughter Katie Dawn Blackwell and great granddaughter Chloe Jo Blackwell, all of Denton, TX
