Severita Lira, 56, of Denton, passed on to a better life on Friday, July 17, 2015 while being at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Mrs. Lira was born on February 2, 1959 in Zaragoza, Mexico to Jose Angel and Armandina Villa (Rodriguez) Cedillo. She was married to Felipe Lira Salinas on September 7, 1975 in Zaragoza, Coahulia MX. She was a member of Amazing Love Ministries in Denton.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Elizabeth Vega of Denton, Crystal Magaly Lira of Dallas, Serenity Lira of Denton; sons, Felipe DeJesus Lira of Krum, Jose Angel Lira of Argyle, Juan Carlos Lira of Denton, Julio Cesar Lira of Denton, TX; sister, Dora Fuentes of Zaragoza, Coahuila MX, Juanita Flores of Miami, FL, Armandina Cedillo of Zaragoza, Coahuila MX; brothers, Jose Antonio Cedillo of Zaragoza, Coahuila MX, Doroteo Cedillo of Denton TX; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Amazing Love Church, 819 E. McKinney, Denton, TX. A funeral service will follow the next morning at 10:00 AM Monday at the church. Rev. Gary Beale will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
