Obituary

On October 26. 2024, Scooter Buck ran into the arms of our loving Savior after a short and difficult battle with cancer. Glenn Scooter Buck was born in Lubbock, Texas on December 16, 1966 and loved his Texas Tech Red Raiders. He fought the good fight and we know he heard the words, well done good and faithful servant. Through his almost 40 years of ministry he leaves behind an amazing legacy that has continued to bless us. He made everyone he met feel loved and welcomed. He showed others that living a life for Christ is a fun adventure. Scooter never lost his child-like faith and was passionate about making disciples. He had a goal to make Heaven crowded and we are confident the Lord used him to do just that and will continue to use his legacy.

He is preceded in death by his mother Delores Buck and father Lynn Buck, sister-in-law, Laura Traylor and father-in-law, Larry Milner. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Buck, children Shane, Suzanne and Sarah, mother-in-law Suzanne Milner, sister and brother-in-law Pollyanna and Greg Conover and brother-in-law Chris Traylor, nieces and nephews, cousins, students and friends that are like family. We will do our best to carry on his legacy and make heaven crowded.

A Celebration of life will be held on November 9th at 1:00 pm at Denton County Cowboy Church in Ponder, Texas.
