Sarah Ulrich Stone was welcomed into her eternal home on January 5, 2022. She passed away at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, where she bravely fought an acute illness for the past three weeks.

Sarah was a resident of Denton for over 50 years, where she was an active community member, business owner, and teacher.

Sarah has joined her loving husband, Dr. Howard L. Stone, and her eldest child, Beau Stone, who both preceded her in death. She is survived by four children: Don Stone, Ben Stone, Steve Stone, and Sarah E. Stone, and their families. Although we mourn her loss, we are very thankful for the long, extraordinary life she lead, and that she passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

A full obituary will be published closer to the celebration of her life, which is planned for March - on what would have been her 95th birthday.
