Sarah Alice Odom, 94 of Denton, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Senior Care Center. She was born November 29, 1916 in Holdenville, OK to William James and Eudora (Marlin) Anderson. She was a graduate of Era High School. She was married to Thomas Alton Odom October 5, 1935 in Cooke County, TX and he passed away on November 23, 1979. She was a member of the Sherman Drive Church of Christ and a Retried Seamstress with Russell Newman Manufacturing Co.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2011in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Weylan Deaver, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday before the funeral from 9:30 A.M. until service time for visitation.

Mrs. Odom is survived by daughter, Mary Alice Uland, of Fort Worth, a Son, Billy Thomas Odom of Denton, Sister, Marguerite Hale of Rialto, CA Brother J. B. Anderson of Grand Prairie, 6 Grandchildren Nancy Peebles, Grace Payne, Leonard Uland, Robert Uland, Alice Castillo, Donna Hughes, and severa, Great Grandchildren.
