Sandra Sue Smith Dotson, 69, of Denton, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Senior Care Rehabilitation Center in Denton.
Sandra was born on February 7, 1945 in Denton to Charles M. and Evelyn P. (Schlienat) Smith. She graduated from Denton High School and was a member of Willowwood Church of The Nazarene. She married Robert Doyle Dotson on March 20, 1964 in Denton, he died on November 6, 1999.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn L. Ramirez of Denton; sons, Lowell Robert Dotson of Denton, Norman Craig Dotson of Denton; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Smith.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 29, 2014 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Willowwood Church of The Nazarene, 1513 Willowwood St., Denton. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Burns City.
