Samuel Karl Dickson, 73, of Denton, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Dickson was born on July 22, 1942 in Seattle, WA to Karl and Evelyn (Holderman) Dick. He received his Master's degree in Entomology from Kansas State University. He was married to Elizabeth Siemens on June 3, 1965 in Buhler, KS. He was a member of Denton Bible Church and worked for many years as an alarm inspector for SimplexGrinnell.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dickson of Denton; daughters, Julie Crawford of Springdale, AR, Sara Cross of Lewisville, TX; son, Mark Dickson of Krum, TX; sister, Judy Hickman of Costa Rica; brothers, Alden Dick of Buhler, KS, Doug Dick of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Erin, Evelyn, Garrett, Madison, Grayson, Marcela, Elora.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2016 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Dr. Jeff Crawford will officiate the service.
