Sally Ann Pierson, 73, of Denton, formerly of Midland, TX passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Denton Regional Medical Center.  She was born on August 25, 1935 in Toyah, TX to J. L. and Ila (Lawson) Duncan.  She was retired from Marathon Oil Co. where she was in Accounts Payable Dept.  She attended the Alamo Heights Church in Midland.

A funeral service will be held at  2:00 P.M. in the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home Chapel,  705 N. Locust, Denton,   on Thursday, January 8, 2009, with Rev. Bob Joyce, officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 6 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Pierson is survived three sons,   Ray  Pierson, and wife Sharon, of Midland, TX  Frank Pierson, and wife Debbie, of Denton, Tx and Blane Pierson, of Mansfield, TX  a sister, Tempie Lamothe, of Euless, TX  five grandchildren Chad Carson, Leslie Neatherlin, Brian Meadows, Zachary Pierson, Lee Pierson, and Carmen Samuel, and Six Great Grandchildren.
