Obituary
Ruth Lavada White, 89, of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the River Valley Nursing Home. She was born on May 18, 1923 in Little Elm, TX to Calvin L. and Myrtle (Elmore) Tubbs. She was married to James A. White on May 17, 1947 in Denton. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked for Dallas Association Credit doing clerical work.
She is survived by her husband, James A. White of Gainesville; son, Gary S. White of Denver, CO; sister, Mary Myradean Clay of Fort Worth; and one grandson, Jason Jacob White.
A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.
