Ruth Southerland, of Sanger On Friday February 23, 2007 Ruth Southerland went to the arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ, She was born July 5, 1938 at Drop, TX to Homer and Ruby (Cowan) Belcher. She was married to John W. Southerland in Denton, on December 5, 1981. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Rev. Bob Smith will officiate. Mrs. Southerland is survived by her husband, of Sanger, daughters, Elana Gayle Hurder, of Aubrey, Glenda Dell Riley, of Valley View, and Candace Southerland, of Austin, sisters, Joyce Choate, of San Angelo, and Claudine Barber of Denton, and a brother Bobby Belcher, of Denton, Seven Grandchildren, and Fifteen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded In death by her parents.
