Ruth Inez Kellum Coyle, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away after a beautiful life, cherishing every moment of her 94 years on October 10, 2010 with her children by her side. She was born September 23, 1916 in Fairlee, Texas to Lizzie Belle Miller Kellum and Joseph Washington Kellum. She married William Alfred Coyle on April 23, 1943 in Dallas, TX
Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Anita Coyle of Justin, Judy Coyle Briggs and her husband Dwayne of San Tan Valley, AZ., and Tim Coyle of Justin. Seven grandchildren, Todd Grissom and wife Kathie of AZ., Kevin Grissom and wife Kristin of AZ., JoElayne Briggs Jones and her husband Jared of AZ., Stephanie Coyle of Ark., Nikki Coyle Duty and her husband Michael of Japan, Phil Coyle of Ark. and Cadie Coyle of OK. Twelve great grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Shelbie Grissom, Jacie Grissom,Jacob Jones, Baylee Grissom, Paige Grissom, Hayden Jones, Kash Grissom, Michael Smith, Collyn Duty, Reighan Monroe and Karsyn Morris. One sister-in-law Oneta Kellum, one nephew and ten nieces and many friends.
Ruth is predeceased by her son Phillip Ray Coyle in 1968 and husband Alf Coyle in 1978; brothers and sister-in-laws Bill and Ruth Kellum and their son Jimmy, W.R. Kellum and his infant son Wendall, Hiram and Ruth Kellum, Joe and Bobbie Kellum and Buddy and Beatrice Kellum
Pallbearers will be D'Wayne Briggs, Todd Grissom, Kevin Grissom, Jared Jones, Jacob Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmie D Briggs, Jack Thomas, Billy Kellum and Dean Layh, Kasey Morris and Randy Monroe.
Our family is at peace knowing their Mama, Granny and Aunt Ruth is now in Heaven surrounded by family and friends that she has missed so much throughout the years, commending her on a life well done. We too say Well Done Mama. We love you and will miss you terribly and thank you for the love you gave us all. The world truly lost a fine Lady today.
A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. On Friday, October 15, 2010 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Dr. Larry Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday, October 14, 2010 for visittion from 5 P.M. Until 7 P.M.
