Obituary
Rumualdo Mata passed on February 2, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
He was 44 years old.
Rumualdo was born in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico on March 14, 1963 to the late Joel and Hilaria Mata.
He was the middle child of 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
As a child, he served as an acolyte at his church and later, he played baseball in the minor leagues in Mexico.
On his spare time, he loved to cook and listen to Rancheras music.
Rumualdo worked as the general manager at Angelina's Mexican Restaurant for 18 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elida; son, Jesus and daughter, Bianca.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6th from 9am to 9pm with a Rosary service at 4pm in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 148 W. Church Street, in Lewisville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2pm, Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell.
Interment will follow in the Round Grove Cemetery in Lewisville.
