Ruby Gene Cain, 77, of Denton, died Monday, October 2, 2017 at Baylor in Carrollton.
She was born on January 12, 1940 in De Kalb, TX to Johnnie and Helen (Steward) Traylor. She was married to Charles Wesley Cain on February 27, 1999 in Fort Smith, AK. She co-owned and operated several Dairy Queens and a Tasty Freeze.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wesley Cain of Denton; daughter, Sheila King of Denton, Tersa Hebert of Mansfield; sons, Michael Robertson of Denton, Stuart Robertson of Argyle, Timothy Franklin Cain of Dewey, OK, Phillip Lee Cain of Dewey, OK; sister, Faye Hollis of Baton Rouge, LA, Marsha Mayo of Arlington, TX, Chyvonne Powers of Lewisville; grandchildren, Candi, Joshua, Misty, Shane, Jesse, Lois, Joey, Wendy; five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton. Rev. Sam Redfearn will officiate the service.
