Roy Lee Pender, 70 of Red Oak, Texas, formerly of Denton, passed away on Friday April 15, 2016 at his home in Red Oak, TX. He was born November 6, 1945 in Dallas, TX. He was the son of Joe W. Jr. and Frances (Russell) Pender. He was a 1964 graduate of Denton High School and attended computer college in Corpus Christi, TX. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton, TX.
Mr. Pender is survived by three sisters, Ruby Pender of Red Oak, TX, Joyce Bailey of Lake Isabella, CA. and Francine Cabal of Arlington, TX; three nieces and four nephews and six great nieces.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 3:00 PM with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.
