Obituary

Rosprim,  Adeline Frances  Walker  Born  Dec. 16, 1917 in Corsicana, TX.  Daughter of Ralph Reed Walker & Edith Lytle Foster Walker.   Childhood years spent in Dallas, Denison, Lubbock, Amarillo.  Graduated Lubbock HS 1935.  Graduated Texas State College for Women (TWU) in 1939.    Moved to Houston to work for Houston Light & Power.  Married Pierre  (Pete) Anthony Rosprim 12/25/1940.  Moved to Austin 10/1942.    Pete Rosprim preceded her in death in 1985.  Her daughter Linda Rosprim Wagner preceded her in death in 2000.  Her two sisters  preceded her in death.  Anna Jean Walker Allison  of Ft Worth in 1995.  Dorothy Helen Walker Price of Lubbock in 2001.

Adeline was a member of St Luke's On The Lake Episcopal Church in Austin for many years where she enjoyed volunteering in many ways.  She also had volunteered at Seton Hospital and The Heart Hospital.    She moved to Denton Feb. 2006 to be nearer to family.  She joined Argyle United Methodist Church and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her new church family and watching as a new church was built and will be moved into this month.

Adeline was a well known Austin REALTOR for 25 years.   She gave up her REALTOR'S license after moving to Denton.   She was happiest in the kitchen baking any number of goodies of all types to joyfully share with family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Anthony Rosprim of Flower Mound and his wife Theresa,  and Ralph Christopher Rosprim of Denton.   Seven grandchildren and four great grand-children.  Alexia Camfield / Heitman and husband Peter of Houston and their daughters Audrey and Emma;  Kyle David Wagner and wife Amy Boles of San Diego; Laura Rosprim Spence of Grapevine;  Todd Wagner and wife Jenny and son of Pacific Palisades, CA;  Dr. Lisa Rosprim White and husband Dan of Ft Worth;  Megan Rosprim and daughter Bailey of Denton;

Several nieces and nephews:  Paul Walker Allison and wife Maryanne of Los Alamos, NM;  Penny Price Howard  and husband Dennis of Lubbock; Robert Allen Price and wife Judy of Tennessee;  Ann Allison of Dallas;

Memorials may be made to either Argyle United Methodist Church of Denton or to St. Luke's On The Lake Episcopal Church  Altar Guild of Austin.

Visitation will be at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home,  705 N Locust St., Denton, TX   Monday March 23   from 5-7 PM.    Services in Denton will be held Tuesday March 24 at the NEW Argyle United Methodist Church,  9033  Ft Worth Dr.,  (Hwy 377) in Argyle, TX  76226 at 10:30 AM officiated by Pastor Kory Knott.   Services will be held in Austin on Wed. March 25 at St. Luke's On The Lake Episcopal Church at 5600 RM 620 North, Austin, TX  78732  at 2 PM officiated by Rev. Michael Wyckoff and Rev Parker Jameson.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin next to Pete Rosprim.
