Rosalie (Rose) Margaret (Smith) Stanley, 84, of St. Louis (Denton) passed away on May 29, 2022 at home in Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Stanley, sister Carole (Smith) Norman and her parents Lloyd & Esther (Lang) Smith.

Rose was born on May 31, 1937 in St. Louis Missouri to Lloyd and Esther (Lang) Smith. She married Robert on September 17, 1955, 67 years before her passing. She was retired after working many years in the dental field.

She is survived by daughter Robin (Stanley) Adams of Seattle, Washington, and Son Randy Stanley of Denton, Texas and Daughter-in-law Sylvia; grandchildren Robert, Melissa, James, Jason, Stephen and John-Marc; great grandchildren, Ayden, Georgia, Reagan, Rosemary, Sidney, Matthew, Quinn and Petra; Sister Joanne (Smith) Russell.

Sister-in-law to Eleonor (Smith) Stanley and Joanne (Peters) Stanley, and preceded in death by brothers-in-law Ralph Stanley & Clarence Wesley "Bud" Stanley III. Aunt to Dale Stanley, Kimberly (Stanley) Poeppelmeier, Russell Stanley, Becky (Ambrecht) Shock, Jonathan Norman, Caroline (Norman) Quijano, Leslie (Nelson) Breuning and preceded in death by Clarence Wesley "Wes" Stanley IV. She was a great-aunt, cousin, niece, and friend to many.

A memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday June 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Krugerville 5021 US-377. Aubrey, TX (Google Maps Link: https://goo.gl/maps/vevh33kGvfxHqrt47 ).

Rose's grandson, Rev. Stephen Stanley, will officiate the service and grandson John-Marc Stanley will be the soloist.
