Rosadell Hooper Fanning, age 97, of Flower Mound, TX and formerly of New Orleans, LA, passed away, Sunday April 26, 2009. She was born July 27, 1911 in Houma, LA to Edward and Rose Malrough Hooper. She married James Fanning in 1931. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1982.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacklyn Cucinotta and husband Tony of Flower Mound, TX and Joycelyn Lauto and husband Tony of Metairie, LA; sister, Mercedes Gleason of New Orleans; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Angel and Ritamae Morales and five brothers, Hubert, Lee, William, Wesley and Deacon Edward Hooper. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Texas. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Lake Lawn Cemetery in New Orleans.
