Ronnie Lee Strange, age 65, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008, in Lewisville, Texas.

He was born August 26, 1942 in Houston, Texas . After graduating from Wichita Falls High School, he attended Southern Methodist University on a football scholarship.  Ronnie married Patricia McAdams on May 16, 1964 in Wichita Falls. Ronnie and Patricia moved to Amarillo where they raised their three sons. In 1997, he took early retirement from Roadway Express to work with his son in the Dallas/Ft.Worth     metroplex.

Ronnie was a beloved son, and a wonderful provider for his family.  He enjoyed spending  time with his grandchildren, and brought joy to all those around him. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Ronnie M. Strange and wife Stephanie of Dallas, Garris M. Strange and wife Amy of Malakoff, Texas and David M. Strange and Sunny of Amarillo; parents, LaRue and William Dub Leach and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to any hospice organization. For online condolences please go to www.mulkeymason.com .
