Obituary

Ronnie Jerrel McNett 70 of Nocona, formerly of Denton, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 at his home. He was born March 19, 1941 in Roanoke, TX to Murray Woodson and Bettie Irene (Blagg) McNett. He was a graduate of of Denton High School in 1959, and a member of the Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army National Guard during the Berlin Crisis. He was married to Sharon Cramer in Irving, TX in 1980. He was retired from Peterbilt Fab Shop in 2003, but before that he had worked for David Mulkey Contractor's Brown and Sharp, Wagner, and Moore's Business Forms.

Mr. McNett is survived by his wife Sharon of Nocona and children, Connie Marlene McNett of Nocona, Rhea Ann McNett of Denton, Cassandra & Brian Horton of Lake Dallas, and Rebecca Sylvera of Denton, John Robert & Typhanie Sylvera of Temecula, CA Christopher Sylvera of Denton, and Marc & Becky Sylvera of Corinth. Fifteen Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, July 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 20911 from 6 P.M. until 8P.M.for visitation.
