Ron Arender, 74, of Krum, TX went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2022. Born June 21, 1946, in Childress, TX. He married the love of his life Sharon Arender on February 25, 1972. They shared almost 50 years of faithful marriage as husband and wife.
He honorably served in the US Army for over 20 years as an intelligence operator and personnel instructor. He was a proud graduate of Baylor University - Sic 'em Bears! He had a long career in accounting finally retiring at TWU. Ron and Sharon spent the first 31 years of their marriage serving the Lord in Northern California and moved back to Texas in 2003.
There was never a person he didn't respect, honor or attempt to serve. He loved all types of gospel music and faithfully served each church he attended as a deacon, music minister and Sunday school teacher. He loved his family and took great pride in each of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Arender and their three children: Rhonda (Nathan) DuCharme, Melanie (Zack) Vest and Greg (Becca) Arender, his sister Peggy Black and nine grandchildren: Dominic, Carley and Tyler DuCharme; Ethan, Kailyn and Eli Vest; Judah, Micah and Eden Arender.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10:00am, with viewing beginning at 9:30am, in the chapel at Denton Bible Church.
