ROGER ALAN (R.A.) LITTLE – 12/22/1971 – 5/16/2021

Roger Alan "R.A" Little, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Denton, TX.

R.A. is preceded in death by his father Roger Dale Little, and grandparents Lois Nell Wilson (Conwell), Byron Roger Conwell, and Ila Mae Dierks.  He is survived by his two children: son Hayden Little of Charlottesville, VA, and daughter Hayley Little Nelson (Jake) of Irving, TX; his mother Carma Little, and sister, Amber Little (Jim Novak), both of Houston, TX, as well as many extended family and dear friends.

R.A. Little was born in Houston, TX on Dec. 22, 1971.  By the age of 5, the family relocated to Denton, Tx and ultimately settled in Pilot Point. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas, and married Kelly Shultz in 1995. During their 20 years together, they raised two wonderful children, Hayden and Hayley.  If you saw R.A. grinning from ear-to-ear, you knew he was talking about how proud he was of his kids. R.A.'s quick wit and easygoing, friendly personality was a natural fit for his successful career in sales, where he worked for major band suppliers as well as his own company, and then a joint-venture with his father, Little's Special Services. R.A. never met a stranger and had the unique ability to make everyone feel as if they belonged- they mattered , and always made a point to end conversations letting others know they were loved and appreciated. He was cherished by his family, friends old and new, neighbors, and business associates, all of whom will feel the absence of his charming smile and jovial conversations deeply. Those lucky enough to know him, loved him, and will miss his warmth that brought smiles to us all.

"The world is mine," he would say, and he was ours. Rest easy, R.A.

R.A. loved to entertain and would be thrilled a Celebration of Life worthy of our dear father, son and friend is being planned for a later date.
