Rodney Gene Wright was born September 6, 1953 and left this life on April 18, 2008 after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer.

He was an avid golfer, horse racing fan, and Texas Longhorn fan. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow in Gorman, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Trenton Gene Wright of College Station, mother, Virginia Wright of Lake Leon, sister, Sherry Massey of Watauga and nephews, Troy and Brian Massey and their families.
