Robert Cecil Vaughn, 89, of Denton, died Friday, April 27, 2007 at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village. He was born in Denton, on October 18, 1917 to Robert Ray and Callie (Morgan) Vaughn. He was married to Marcheta Jo Casey in Denton, on November 9, 1947. He is retired from the U. S. Navy after twenty years, and also from Sears after twenty four years. He is a member of the Baptist Church, and a graduate of Denton High School.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Jack Bailey, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 3:00 P.M. until service time Monday.. Memorials to the charity of your choice.

Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Marcheta J. Vaughn, of Denton, a sister, Mearl Ellis, of Ft. Worth, and two brothers Earl Vaughn, of Denton, and Walter Vaughn, of Sugarland.
