Robert Bernell Stanley, 81 of St. Louis (Denton), passed away on March 20, 2018 at Medical City of Denton.
Robert was born on August 28, 1936 in Coulterville, IL to Clarence Wesley and Mary Ellen (Stewart) Stanley.  He was married to Rosalie (Rose) Margaret Smith on September 17, 1955 in St. Louis, MO.  He retired after working in management for several large tire manufacturing companies.
He is survived by his wife Rosalie (Rose) Margaret Stanley of St. Louis (Denton) which was his high school sweetheart; daughter, Robin Adams of Seattle, WA; son, Randy Stanley of Denton; grandchildren, Robert, Melissa, James, Jason, Stephen and John-Marc; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Georgia, Reagan, Rosemary, Sidney, Matthew, Quinn and Petra.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Stanley (identical twin) and Clarence "Bud" Stanley.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 23, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Krugerville, 5021 US-377, Aubrey .  Robert's grandson, Rev. Steve Stanley, will officiate the service and grandson John-Marc will be the soloist.
