Robert Marks, 61, of Denton died Saturday March 19, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Marks was born on May 7, 1949 in Irving, TX to Coyt R. and Dorothy M. (Moore) Marks. He was married to Yvonne "Bonnie" VanNess on August 3, 1991 in Lake Dallas. He had owned Marks Market and Charlie's Market in Lake Dallas.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday March 21, 2011 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 22, 2011 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Celina. Rev. Homer Walkup will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne "Bonnie" Marks of Denton; son, Charlie Marks and his wife Amy of Broken Arrow, OK; daughters, Amanda Sternadel of Ft. Worth, Ashley Rose of Lewisville; grandchildren, C.J. Marks, Matthew Sternadel, Kameron Sternadel, Kaylee Sternadel, Chayten Rose; numerous extended family members and friends.
