Robert Baxton Lynch March 14, 1962 – January 12, 2011 Robert BaxtonLynch was born in Denton, Texas, to Wilma (Ingram) and Bill Lynch. HeattendedDenton schools and lived all his life in Denton County. He married Penny Willeford in the 1980s. They later divorced. He worked in construction and welding, and was a talented tile layer.
Baxton had a big heart and loved the Lord. Even in his daily struggles of alcohol addiction, he always praised God asking for strength, forgiveness and guidance. He is at peace now.
Preceded in death by his mother, he is survived by his father; sisters, Mauria Banducci and Rhonda Reames; brothers, Alan and Jason; and several nieces and nephews who loved their funny Uncle Baxton, and he loved them.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 16 from 4 to 6 P.M. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Memorial service will be in the chapel at the same location on Monday, Jan. 17 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery.
