Obituary

Robert "Bob" Lee Cook, 81, of Denton, died August 16, 2020, after battling Lew Body Dementia. He was born on August 9, 1939, to Otto and Flora Jane Cook in Pineville, WV. He married Judy George on July 9, 1982.

Bob was a member of the United States Airforce. He was self-employed as a contractor and retired in 2004. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bob loved to spend time with his wife and sons at their dear lease in Comanche and De Leon, TX.

Bob is survived by his wife Judy Cook, son Bobby and wife Laurie Cook, son Michael and wife Cindy Cook of White Settlement, daughter Diana and husband Steve Sienko of Carthage,  stepdaughter Tammy George of Denton, step daughter Kelly Bell and partner Bryan Strickland of Sanger, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and siblings Garland Cook, Arlis Cook, Evelyn Cook, Gladys Williams, and the mother of his children Judy McKee.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Otto and Flora Jane Cook, brother Buell Cook, sisters Audrey Cullip, Anice Blevins, and Shirley Morgan.

A family graveside services will be August 21, 2020 at 10AM at Sanger Cemetery with John Beck officiating.
