Obituary

Robert Charles Kovar, age 75, of The Colony, TX, passed away, Saturday June 7, 2008.He was born November 20, 1932 in North Bend, Nebraska to Otto and Agnes Kovar. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in The Colony. He loved golf and traveling. Survivors include his loving wife of six years, Eleanor Kovar of The Colony; daughter, Susan Kovar-Love of The Colony; son Jeff Kovar of Valparaiso, IN; brother, Otto L. Kovar Jr. of Lincoln, NE; sister, Donnette McGee of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Jacob, Jenny, Kade, Shawn and Luke; five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Elaine Kovar. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday June 13, 2008 at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in The Colony. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a veterans charity of your choice. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville, TX is in charge of arrangements.
