God called Ian home to be with Jesus on this past Tuesday, January 5. Robert Ian Key was born September 25, 1997 in Plano, Texas at Plano Presbyterian Hospital. Ian was a 6th grader at Liberty Christian School.
Ian and his family are members of Rockpointe Church, in Flower Mound. He leaves behind his parents, Christy Lynn Key of Flower Mound, Gordon Dennis Key of Dallas, and William Scott Dice, brothers Skyler Key and Evan Key, grandparents, Bruce and Nita Erickson of Red Oak, Dick and Judy Comried of Highland Village, Dennis and Pam Key of Pilot Point and John and Anne Conyers of Decatur, Alabama, and Rickey Burnside of Sanger, great-grandparents Gladys Carlton of Shady Shores, Mary Joe Conyers of Iowa Park, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. There will be a visitation this Friday, January 8, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for family and close friends. The funeral will be this Saturday, January 9, at 2 p.m. at Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be made up of family members and close friends. Place of interment will be Old Hall Cemetery off of Hwy 407 and McGee Lane. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Directors are in charge of the arrangements.
